The Teach on Mars solution allows learners connecting in unidentified mode with a limited access to the application. They may view the home page and the access to the training is defined for each training:
- Downloadable access: a training is visible and downloadable in unidentified mode. The user can therefore download and consume the training course
- Visible access: a training is visible in unidentified mode but can be downloaded in authenticated mode only. The user then sees the training in the catalog and is invited to create an account when he wants to download it
- Invisible access: a training is visible and downloadable in authenticated mode only. Only an identified learner with access to training can view it in the catalog and download it
In order to make your training visible, you can manage this feature from the Mission Center, in the managing page of your training.
The following features can not be accessed in unidentified mode:
- Dual mode
- Live! mode
- Integrated Forum
When the user attempts to access these features, a message prompts the user to create an account for accessing it.
In unidentified mode, statistical information is collected on user's device. When the user creates a learning account on the application, these statistics are published (ranking) and uploaded to the back office (Mission Center).
